I have this plant idea that works like a cross between a Venus Flytrap and an anglerfish, growing in areas with Deochalcum nearer the surface. It powers a glowy lure with this, luring smaller creatures and wild Zoids close, then dismembers them with razor-sharp "teeth", which grow larger and sharper as the plant takes in more metal-rich prey to reenforce them with.

After the Deochalcum nearly all sank, growing them became a rather difficult and expensive hobby, restricted to either the very bored and scientific or the wannabe-emprerors of the world.
